About the Role We are currently seeking an ambitious quantity surveyor to join our commercial team in Wellington. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and develop your career in a supportive environment. We need a proactive individual who can drive projects toward financial success and effectively manage their responsibilities on site. While you will have autonomy in your role, support from more senior staff will always be available. To thrive in this growing team, we are looking for candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with the New Zealand construction process and contracts, along with local knowledge, will be essential for success in this position. Requirements - A relevant construction or commercial qualification - 3 to 5 years of experience in new build or refurbishment projects, ideally in the $5 million to $30 million range - Knowledge of subcontractor contracts and the ability to manage them - Experience with monthly reporting - Skills in processing claims and variations - Strong communication abilities to engage with both internal and external stakeholders Benefits This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $145,000, depending on experience, along with additional benefits such as a phone, laptop, and Kiwisaver contributions.
