About the Role We are currently seeking a contract or part-time Quantity Surveyor to support us in building and structuring our takeoff estimating systems from the ground up. In this role, you will work closely with our Director to design and implement a robust estimating process using Square Takeoff integrated with Buildertrend. This is a pivotal position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to shape a core system that supports our ongoing growth. Key Responsibilities - Build and structure our digital takeoff estimating tool - Create and format a cost catalogue aligned with our residential workflows - Systematize and document estimating processes - Collaborate directly with the Director to ensure the setup aligns with our job flow What We Are Looking For - Strong knowledge of quantity surveying in New Zealand residential construction - Experience with digital takeoff tools, particularly Square Takeoff - Familiarity with Buildertrend, Excel/Google Sheets, and ideally Xero - Ability to establish systems from scratch and structure cost catalogues - Detail-oriented, systems-minded, and proactive - Excellent communicator who enjoys problem-solving and building effective workflows Benefits In return, we offer flexible hours and a remote-friendly work environment.
