About the Role We are currently seeking two full-time Fast Food Cooks to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking various menu items, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Work location: Whanganui-Manawatu Length of employment: Full-time and permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (with a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed) Pay rate: $25.50 to $30.00 per hour Number of positions vacant: 5 Job Duties As a Fast Food Cook, your primary responsibilities will include: - Taking and serving food and beverage orders while processing customer payments - Preparing and cooking food items, including entrees, sides, and fast food dishes - Washing, cutting, measuring, and mixing ingredients for cooking - Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves, and deep-fat fryers - Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and kitchen utensils - Ordering and receiving deliveries of fast food ingredients - Arranging delivery of prepared food and beverages when necessary Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria: - No specific qualifications or certificates are required, as we provide on-site training - Relevant work experience is preferred, but not essential - Availability to work on weekends and public holidays according to the roster - Flexibility to work within a 7-day operation, including split shifts - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit - Willingness to work late evenings If this sounds like the right opportunity for you and you are eager to be part of our exciting team, we encourage you to apply today.
