About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team in Queenstown. Our projects include everything from residential builds to commercial fit-outs and civil works. You can expect your workdays to be dynamic and engaging as you tackle various challenges. What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks, including: - Residential, commercial, and civil carpentry - 1st, 2nd, and final fix work - Reading and interpreting plans and specifications - Shuttering joinery and steel tying - Framing, subflooring, cladding, and roofing work - Concrete formwork (a significant advantage) Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have: - A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience - Trade qualifications (preferred, but not essential if you meet the experience requirements) - Your own hand and power tools - Reliable transportation - Two solid work references - A strong commitment to health and safety practices - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Benefits We offer competitive hourly rates ranging from $30 to $35, depending on your experience. You can expect guaranteed work of 30 hours or more per week and ongoing opportunities across various projects.
