About the Role We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the installation of kitchens and other joinery across the Queenstown area. In this varied role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery, installation, and finishing of both residential and commercial projects. You will have the opportunity to see the finished results of your work and enjoy a dynamic work environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the pipeline of work, scheduling installers for expected deliveries, and ensuring that all materials arrive intact and on time. You will also be tasked with signing off on all finishing details and addressing minor issues yourself before handing over the completed projects. Additionally, you will complete site measurements, liaise with clients' project managers and our internal team, and manage necessary paperwork. Requirements To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications: - Proven skills as a cabinetmaker or finishing carpenter, with your own tools to address issues on the spot - A meticulous eye for detail, enabling you to identify imperfections and resolve underlying causes to prevent recurrence - Proficiency in computer use, particularly with calendars and planning tools to effectively manage dates and resources - Strong organizational skills, allowing you to handle multiple sites and projects simultaneously - Clear and confident problem-solving abilities to address challenges as they arise - A positive, professional demeanor that fosters trust and collaboration with clients' project managers and our larger team - A full, clean driver’s license is essential Benefits We offer a supportive and engaging work environment where your skills and contributions are valued.
