About the Role
We are seeking a New Zealand Registered MRI Medical Imaging Technologist to join our enthusiastic and supportive Radiology Team at North Shore Hospital on a casual basis. Our department boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including new DR X-ray rooms, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, and a Fluoroscopy unit, as well as dedicated Theatre and PACs teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring that an effective and customer-focused service is maintained at all times.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will need to hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or an equivalent qualification, along with a postgraduate diploma in MRI. Current registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) is essential, as is a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with MRI scope of practice.
You should possess experience gained during your MRI postgraduate qualification, and prior experience in a busy Radiology Department will be advantageous. Flexibility to accept casual shifts at short notice is also a requirement.
