We are currently looking for a Farmhand and Class 4 Driver to join our team and contribute to our daily operations. About the Role In this dual role, you will play an essential part in our day-to-day farm activities while also managing transportation duties using Class 4 vehicles and farm equipment. This position offers a unique opportunity for those who enjoy a variety of tasks in their work environment, ensuring that no two days are ever the same. We provide transportation options from Hamilton or Te Awamutu for your convenience. Key Responsibilities - Assist with general farm work to support daily operations. - Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment with safety as a priority. - Drive Class 4 vehicles to transport goods and equipment around the farm. - Adhere to all health and safety protocols during both farm and driving tasks. - Collaborate with the team to ensure farm productivity is maintained. Our Ideal Candidate Will Have - A valid New Zealand Class 4 driver's license with a clean driving record; WTR endorsement is a plus. - Previous experience in farming or the agricultural sector is preferred. - A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. - Good physical fitness and the capability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions. - Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with farm machinery is advantageous. - A commitment to safety and excellent time management skills.
