About the Role We are excited to announce an opening for a New Truck Groomer at our Te Rapa branch in Hamilton. This position is perfect for individuals who are reliable, energetic, and possess a strong work ethic. If you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and have an eye for detail, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for grooming and preparing new trucks for delivery. You will also be involved in moving vehicles around the yard, between branches, and to customer sites. While experience in the heavy automotive industry is beneficial, it is not a requirement as we provide comprehensive training. Although a Class 2 driver's licence is preferred, we are open to applicants holding a full Class 1 licence, and we will support you in obtaining at least a Class 2. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should possess the following: - Physical fitness to perform the duties required - Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative - A strong work ethic and attention to detail - Good communication skills - Flexibility and willingness to undertake various tasks - A positive, motivated attitude along with tidy personal presentation - A full Class 1 driver's licence (with a willingness to work towards obtaining a Class 2) Benefits At CAL Isuzu, we value our employees and strive to provide a supportive and rewarding work environment.
