About the Role
In the position of Service Deli Assistant/Caterer, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting a diverse range of deli and catering offerings. We are looking for someone who is not only efficient and reliable but also brings creativity and passion for food to the table. You will support the growth of our catering service by contributing fresh ideas while maintaining consistent quality and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present various delicious deli and catering options.
- Support the development of our catering service with innovative ideas and ensure quality standards are met.
- Deliver outstanding customer service in a busy environment.
- Assist with deliveries, requiring a full driver's license.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a deli, catering, or food preparation role.
- A full, clean New Zealand driver's license.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for food.
- Availability to work one weekend day each week.
