About the Role We are currently seeking an individual with experience in dairying or a closely related field to join our on-farm team as soon as possible, with the position available through at least the end of September. For the right candidate, there is potential for an extended stay or transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, take pride in their work, and genuinely care about their workplace. Clear and honest communication is essential, as is an enjoyment of working with systems that promote autonomy. Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include: - Bringing cows in, milking, and maintaining cleanliness in the shed, plant, and vat - Performing animal health tasks and caring for youngstock - Engaging in tractor work - Managing pasture and feed allocation Requirements To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements: - Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Availability to start within the next two weeks - Access to personal transportation, as we are not located near public transport Benefits In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive pay rate starting at $25 per hour, plus holiday pay, with a higher rate available for those with suitable experience. We provide flexible time off, allowing you to take five days off every three weeks, which can be utilized as one to two days at a time to ensure you can enjoy life outside of work. Our fully furnished housing is available, with rent deducted from your pay. This includes Starlink internet and power. A partner may reside with you, but work opportunities are only available for one individual.
