About the Role We are currently seeking a qualified butcher who is dedicated and experienced, ready to contribute to our team. In this role, you will expertly cut, trim, and prepare a wide variety of meats to meet customer preferences and specifications. You will maintain a clean and organized work environment, following stringent food safety and hygiene standards. Additionally, you will assist customers in selecting the perfect cuts of meat, offering guidance and suggestions when necessary. Operating and maintaining meat processing equipment is also a key part of the position, ensuring everything is in proper working condition. Collaboration with team members is essential, as you will work together to ensure that product displays are visually appealing and well-stocked. You will take ownership of our Meat Bar, crafting a fresh and eye-catching display each morning while regularly introducing new ideas and offerings to keep our range exciting and engaging for customers. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified butcher or an experienced butcher with a comprehensive understanding of meat cuts and preparation techniques. A strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. We value exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. Physical stamina and dexterity are important, as you will need to handle cutting tools and stand for extended periods. Being detail-oriented with a focus on delivering top-quality products is crucial, as is the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Days & Hours This position will require you to work from Sunday to Thursday, from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
