About the Company Just Cuts™ was established by Denis McFadden with a straightforward vision: to provide quality haircuts from qualified stylists at an affordable price. Throughout the years, we have paid attention to our clients' requests for at-home products to help them maintain their Style Cuts™. We have utilized the expertise of our network of 2,500 stylists to determine which products would best serve the needs of over 100,000 clients we see each week. In 2013, we responded to this demand by launching JUSTICE Professional™, a line of salon-quality, paraben-free haircare and styling products that are now stocked and regularly used in all Just Cuts™ salons. About the Role We are currently seeking skilled hair stylists to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a variety of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treating hair and scalp conditions. Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must possess either a Level 5 Certificate or Diploma in hairdressing, or have at least two years of relevant experience in the field. Job Duties As a stylist at Just Cuts™, your key responsibilities will include: - Cutting, styling, coloring, straightening, and permanently waving hair, as well as treating hair and scalp conditions. - Offering advice on hair care, beauty products, and hairstyles to clients. - Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps as part of the service. - Utilizing chemical solutions for coloring, straightening, and permanently waving hair. - Cutting hair using scissors, clippers, and razors. - Creating intricate hairstyles such as dreadlocks and braids, and applying hair extensions. - Shaving and trimming beards and mustaches. - Maintaining cleanliness by cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments. - Managing appointment scheduling and processing payments. - Optionally cleaning, coloring, cutting, and styling wigs and hairpieces. Benefits We offer a competitive wage ranging from $26 to $32 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
