About the Role
We have an opening for a qualified and dedicated Compliance Technician to join our Asset Protection Trade Waste team. In this role, you will leverage your Environmental Science or Engineering skills to assist our compliance team in ensuring trade waste compliance for various industrial sites within the Auckland region. You will be based at our conveniently located Newmarket Head Office.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting sampling at a variety of industrial sites throughout the greater Auckland region
- Assisting with compliance activities
- Serving as a liaison for customer interactions
- Completing data processing and reporting as required
About You
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Process Engineering, or relevant industry experience
- Strong practical and fieldwork skills
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
- A current New Zealand full driver's license
- A reasonable level of physical fitness, as moderate lifting is required
- Experience in a regulatory environment
