About the Role
We invite you to join our dynamic multidisciplinary Radiology department, where we provide essential support and services to our local Hutt Valley and Wairarapa community. If you are a Radiologist seeking a lifestyle change and are interested in working within a comprehensive and respected Radiology Service, we would love to hear from you. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced Radiologists and a strong technical and administrative team in a supportive and flexible working environment.
Our Radiology Department caters to the population of the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa District, working with a diverse range of clinical referrers, including regional plastic surgery and rheumatology services, as well as two Emergency Departments. We deliver effective, efficient, and professional clinical radiology services, including general radiology reporting, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional radiology. Our team includes several subspecialist-trained Radiologists, providing opportunities for peer review and skill enhancement. We also offer Regional Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services within our hospital.
Requirements
We are seeking Radiologists who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Vocational registration in Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
- Fellowship of the RANZCR or an equivalent qualification that allows for specialist registration with the MCNZ.
- A generalist skill set capable of delivering a wide range of medical imaging procedures.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to providing consistently high standards of medical care.
- Relevant experience and training.
