About the Role We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team in Christchurch City. This position offers an excellent hourly rate with the potential for overtime, as well as on-the-job training and flexible shifts that cater to your lifestyle. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality cleaning services to our valued clients. Your efforts will help maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for both customers and staff. We have two shift options available: - 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (availability on weekends is required as the roster will change weekly) - 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) Candidates must be able to commit to the role for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of extending to six months. What You'll Be Doing In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Performing general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing across various commercial premises. - Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. - Replenishing consumable supplies as needed. - Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisory team. - Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures. What We're Looking For We are looking for candidates who have: - Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably within a commercial or corporate environment. - Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently. - Strong time management skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. - A proactive, reliable, and conscientious approach to work. - Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions. - A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, you must be able to pass both written and verbal English tests due to health and safety requirements. A valid driver's license, a clean criminal history check, and the ability to pass a drug test are also required.
