About the Role We are currently seeking a part-time team member for our café, offering 16.5 hours per week. This position is ideal for students or individuals with a flexible schedule. While prior barista experience is a plus, we welcome all applicants who possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. In this role, you will be the heart of our café, serving delicious coffee and preparing tasty food items, such as toasties. Key Responsibilities - Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for our patrons - Collaborate effectively within a small team - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café - Adhere to food safety standards - Provide prompt and helpful service to customers - Ensure appealing cabinet presentation, keeping cabinets clean, full, and tidy at all times - Prepare and serve great coffee Requirements The ideal candidate will be: - Reliable and punctual - Possessing excellent communication skills - Able to thrive in a busy atmosphere - Skilled in food preparation We place a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, so you will work closely with your colleagues to foster a positive and welcoming environment.
