About the Role
As a residential carpenter with us, you will be part of a dynamic team engaged in a mix of new builds and high-end residential renovations. Your contributions will help create functional, safe, and visually appealing homes. A solid understanding of timber construction techniques and concrete formwork will be essential in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform framing, cladding, and finishing carpentry
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Work with both timber and concrete materials
- Adhere to NZ Building Code standards
- Maintain high health and safety standards in line with WorkSafe NZ
- Collaborate with other trades and site managers to meet project milestones

We’re Looking for Someone Who
- Is a trade-qualified carpenter (preferred)
- Has a complete toolkit or is close to having one
- Holds a full driver’s license and has reliable transportation
- Can demonstrate experience with timber and/or concrete formwork
- Understands and applies NZ Building Code and WorkSafe practices
- Possesses strong communication skills and works well within a team
- Can provide two recent professional references
