    About the Company We are a leader in renewable energy, committed to driving sustainable solutions for the future. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative projects that make a positive impact on the environment. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join us as an Assistant Project Manager on the Kowhai Solar Farm, a significant utility-scale renewable energy project located in Canterbury. About the Role This fixed-term, full-time position (6–9 months) is based in Christchurch and involves working directly on the Kowhai solar farm site. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Commercial team to support the comprehensive delivery of the project. This position offers a unique opportunity for someone eager to advance toward a full Project Manager role by gaining valuable hands-on experience in project delivery, coordination, and commercial processes. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: - Assist in maintaining essential project documentation, including RFIs, drawing registers, and transmittals. - Support progress tracking, schedule updates, and weekly planning meetings. - Help manage procurement documentation and coordinate deliveries. - Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and maintain internal reporting dashboards. - Maintain risk and issue registers, variation tracking logs, and action registers. - Contribute to the preparation of monthly claims and change control documentation. - Assist with quality assurance and handover processes, including test reports and as-built packages. - Coordinate internal and external meetings and follow up on outstanding actions. What We're Looking For We are looking for a team member who has: - Experience in project support, site coordination, or engineering. - A detail-oriented and organized approach, with proactive communication skills. - Familiarity with tools such as Excel, MS Project, and SharePoint. - A genuine desire to grow into a Project Manager role, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
