About the Role
We invite you to join our Central Patient Administration team as an Administrator/Receptionist. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering customer-focused service to everyone who interacts with MidCentral Health. Your responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients and visitors, managing phone calls, processing admissions, discharges, and transfers in our Patient Management System, and coordinating after-hours orderly dispatch. Additionally, you will accurately handle cash transactions and provide administrative support to various wards and departments.
Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is essential for this position.

About You
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer and data entry abilities
- The capacity to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- A high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Sensitivity to cultural and ethnic differences
- Previous experience in administration or reception, along with knowledge of hospital systems, is desirable
