About the Role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Endoscopy, Surgical, and Peri-operative Services team in Northland. In this permanent full-time position, you will work 40 hours per week. As an expert nurse within your area of practice, you will bring advanced knowledge and skills to the role.
Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and managing patient conditions, engaging in assessment, treatment, and review planning in partnership with patients. You will perform upper and/or lower gastrointestinal endoscopy using video endoscopes within the endoscopy unit, while also providing specialist nursing input to our Gastroenterology and General Surgery services.

About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) as a nurse practitioner and a current annual practicing certificate.
- A minimum of four years of experience in a specific area of practice.
- Completion of an approved clinical Master's degree.
- A personal commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, including proficiency in report writing.
