About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Cancer Service team. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating nursing care for patients with cancer throughout their treatment journey. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing clinical protocols, facilitating effective communication among multidisciplinary teams, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
You will also serve as a point of contact for staff development and patient education, ensuring that best practices are consistently applied to enhance patient outcomes. About the Team/Service/Location
Our Cancer Service team comprises a collaborative group of dedicated healthcare professionals, including nurses, oncologists, allied health staff, and support workers. Together, we strive to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.

About You
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- Extensive clinical experience in oncology or a related specialty, with a strong background in service coordination or leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive clinical improvements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- A commitment to providing culturally safe, equitable, and patient-centered care
