About the Role
We are currently seeking a part-time Receptionist/Administration Support to join our team in Whangarei. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering client-focused and culturally competent reception services to whaiora and their families. You will also play a crucial part in managing the administrative needs of our service, ensuring that all tasks are performed professionally and effectively.
This position offers you the opportunity to work within a collaborative team that is committed to creating a supportive and recovery-focused environment for both whaiora and their whanau.
About the Team/Service/Location
You will be part of the Raranga Tahi Home Based Treatment team, located in our recently refurbished Manaia House in the heart of Whangarei city. Our service is dedicated to ongoing professional and cultural development, quality improvement, staff wellbeing, and collaborative work across various services. About You
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A background in administration with proven skills, including medical typing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in a clinical environment, with a background in mental health and/or addictions being highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- An understanding of working within a multidisciplinary team
- The capability to work bi-culturally and engage effectively with Māori
In addition, you should be dedicated to fostering effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals, including whaiora and their whanau.
