About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in managing logistics and transportation services. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing transport to ensure that customer orders are dispatched in accordance with service expectations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to plan efficient loads while maintaining these high service standards.
Additionally, you will oversee import logistics, including the management of finished goods, consumables, raw materials, and capital items to fulfill delivery requirements. You will ensure the smooth operation of our offsite finished goods warehouses, focusing on timely shipping and processing Proof of Delivery. Effective inventory management will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities, which includes accurate cycle counting, stock control, and maintaining housekeeping standards at our Warehousing and Fulfillment yards and third-party locations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to enhancing business performance. Experience with Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) systems across various functions, including Customer Service, Inventory Management, Distribution, Planning, and Manufacturing, will be advantageous.
A proven track record in leading projects that engage operational and corporate stakeholders is essential. You must also have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both internal and external stakeholders. A solid understanding of supply chain principles, particularly in logistics planning, is crucial for this position.
