About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic new team members for our operations team at Mainfreight Transport Palmerston North. This position is perfect for those who are willing to get their hands dirty, bring a positive attitude to work, and are ready to actively participate in the ongoing improvement of our services. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in our operations. The successful candidate will experience rapid personal development and will be expected to engage fully in our daily activities, which include unloading inbound freight, loading outbound shipments, and meeting our daily key performance indicators and standards. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 2 AM to 11:30 AM, with some weekend shifts as required. Requirements We are looking for individuals who possess: - A passion for doing things right the first time - A "can do" attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile - Strong leadership and communication skills - Experience in the transport industry - A forklift and Dangerous Goods license (training can be provided if you do not already have these) To be considered for this position, you must be a New Zealand citizen or resident.
