About the Role In the role of Tech Lead, you will guide the design and strategic direction of our technology platforms, utilizing a modern stack that includes ReactJS/NextJS for the front end and NodeJS/.NET for the back end, all hosted on AWS. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining our software development standards, making informed technology decisions, and mentoring a team of developers to elevate the overall quality of our work. We are looking for an experienced professional who is currently serving as a Tech Lead, Lead Developer, or Senior Developer and has been contributing at a leadership level. Your strong collaboration skills will be essential as you foster open dialogue, constructively challenge ideas, and work closely with stakeholders, developers, architects, and delivery teams to ensure our outcomes are robust, pragmatic, and centered on user needs. Day-to-Day Responsibilities You will guide software design and the strategic direction for full-stack development, specifically with ReactJS, NodeJS, .NET, and AWS. You will lead the development of new customer-facing services as part of our large-scale digital modernization initiative, collaborating with architects and fellow leads to ensure our solutions are secure, performant, and maintainable. Mentoring and supporting developers will be a key part of your role, as you help instill consistent coding standards and promote continuous improvement. Additionally, you will assist in defining and refining developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and development tooling. Skills and Experience Required We are seeking candidates with strong full-stack experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, .NET, and AWS Cloud. Familiarity with Next.js is a plus. You should have experience leading or contributing at a lead level within a collaborative development team, demonstrating a balanced leadership style that is confident yet ego-free, open to others' ideas, and focused on team success. Comfort with influencing technical direction while remaining hands-on is essential. You should also be familiar with CI/CD tooling, secure coding practices, and cloud-native design principles. Excellent communication skills are required, allowing you to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
