    About the Company At Predator Free Wellington, we are dedicated to creating a healthier environment by eradicating predators from our region. Our team is passionate, focused, and committed to restoring nature and strengthening our communities. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team in a long-term position that will run until June 2028, based at our Wellington Depot in Wilton. About the Role As a Field Operator, you will play a crucial role in our mission to make Wellington predator-free, particularly focusing on rodent eradication. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a project that we take great pride in. In this role, you will be actively engaged in servicing a comprehensive network of bait stations and traps, monitoring pest animals, and conducting camera trapping. You will also participate in discussions regarding innovative strategies to tackle these challenges and record important field data. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: - A high level of physical fitness, capable of carrying heavy pack weights - Demonstrated interest and experience in outdoor activities - Proven experience delivering operational work in the field - Willingness and ability to learn new skills - Experience in pest management is desirable - Proficiency in using Microsoft applications Benefits We offer a flexible working policy that allows you to balance your professional and personal life.
