About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Abdo/Pelvic Radiologist to join our Radiology department at Waikato Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting and reporting on various imaging studies, including CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, and MRI. You will handle a broad array of complex clinical cases within your areas of expertise, such as hepatobiliary/pancreas, urology, gynaecology, and gastrointestinal diseases. Your workload will also encompass general radiology and acute imaging.
Additionally, you will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, provide supervision and teaching to registrars, and contribute to the continual development of high standards within our department.

About the Team/Service
Waikato Hospital is a tertiary training hospital and a Level 1 Trauma Centre serving the Waikato region, one of the busiest in New Zealand. Our Radiology Department conducts approximately 200,000 examinations each year, with a significant focus on Emergency and Trauma imaging as well as Oncology.

About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience in Abdominal Radiology
- Experience in CT Colonography
- Experience in Male and Female Pelvic MRI (OG Imaging preferred)
- Eligibility for Registration as a Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- A subspecialty fellowship or interest in body imaging is preferred
