About the Role
We are currently seeking labourers to join our teams across various civil construction projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in the industry. You will engage in a variety of tasks, including groundwork, traffic control, and more. We are committed to helping you gain essential skills and experience while working in a supportive environment.
Job Specifics
Your responsibilities will include:
- Labouring and groundwork tasks such as shoveling, compaction, raking, boxing, drainage, and trenching.
- Traffic control duties, including managing stop-go operations and setting up traffic sites.
We offer competitive pay rates ranging from $24.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on your experience and licenses. There are also positions available in specialized crews focusing on landscaping, civil construction, drainage, road maintenance, and asphalting.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Hold at least a restricted license (full class 1 license is preferred).
- Be physically fit and reliable.
- WTR endorsements are advantageous.
- Have the legal right to work in New Zealand on a long-term basis (valid work visa, residency, or citizenship).
