About the Role We are currently seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our team for a large-scale steel mill project in New Zealand. This position involves hands-on mechanical work with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and excellence. We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: - Proven experience as a mechanical fitter on industrial or commercial projects - The ability to read and interpret technical and mechanical drawings - A valid Site Safe ticket - Full working rights in New Zealand - A current New Zealand driver's license is preferred Duties As a Mechanical Fitter, your responsibilities will include: - Installation and maintenance of mechanical systems - Pipe fitting, valve replacements, and alignment - Assisting with shutdown and commissioning tasks - Adhering to strict safety and quality standards Benefits We offer a competitive hourly wage of $28-$32, depending on experience, along with several attractive benefits: - An additional 8% holiday pay and KiwiSaver contributions - A weekly pay cycle - Monday to Friday working hours - Strong potential for ongoing work and career growth - The opportunity to work with one of New Zealand's most respected engineering companies Temporary Work We also provide temporary work opportunities for those seeking flexibility in their employment.
