About the Role We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bustling retail store. In this role, you will manage a dedicated team across various departments, including grocery, Lotto, café, and takeaway food service. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring an exceptional customer experience and maintaining operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Supervise staff in the retail, Lotto, café, and takeaway departments to ensure smooth operations. - Ensure customer satisfaction by managing complaints and resolving issues professionally. - Plan daily staff rosters and allocate duties to maintain efficient coverage. - Train, evaluate, and support team members to enhance their performance. - Manage inventory for grocery, café, and takeaway items, and place stock orders as needed. - Monitor food hygiene, store cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations. - Oversee pricing, product display, and promotions across all departments. - Ensure that security and safety protocols are adhered to at all times. - Coordinate with suppliers regarding product deliveries and returns. - Assist the Store Manager in implementing store-wide initiatives. Requirements - A minimum of one year of experience in retail or food service supervision. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Hands-on experience with inventory systems and POS software. - Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts. - Basic knowledge of food safety and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Benefits - This is a full-time position, requiring 32 hours per week. - The pay rate is $29.66 per hour.
