About the Role We invite you to join our nationwide Farm Source store team, where you will become part of a group of agricultural experts and set yourself on a path for a rewarding career. Our busy Rakaia store is seeking a proactive and well-organized team member to provide expert advice on farming products to our loyal customers. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our farmers. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your agricultural knowledge and explore various career pathways within our broader business. The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional rostered Saturdays. About You We are looking for a self-motivated and adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. A high level of physical fitness is essential, as this role involves manual handling, including lifting 25kg bags and moving 200L drums on a daily basis. While prior customer service or sales experience is preferred, we welcome candidates transitioning from farm work or those with strong customer service skills interested in the agricultural and dairy industry. Other key attributes we are looking for include: - Experience in rural settings is beneficial, but not required. - A good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the job. - A clean full driver’s license and experience driving with trailers. - A valid forklift license or a willingness to obtain one.
