About the Role We are currently seeking a Pharmacist to join our team at Dunedin Hospital. This role offers a 0.9 FTE opportunity (36 hours per week) with a salary range of $80,442 to $104,466 pro-rata, plus Kiwisaver. The Dunedin Hospital Pharmacy service provides comprehensive clinical and operational support, including a fully equipped Aseptic Production Unit. Our team offers a variety of clinical services, and we are looking for a skilled professional who can contribute in both dispensary and clinical settings. About You To thrive in this role, you should be an effective team player with excellent time management skills and strong communication abilities, both verbal and written. We value high ethical and professional standards, and a mature approach to work is essential. Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic healthcare environment will be crucial for success. Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - Preferably, experience in a hospital setting to ensure a smooth transition into the role - Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand, in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 - The legal right to work in New Zealand Working at Health New Zealand We are committed to providing outstanding healthcare to the people of New Zealand. Salary Range This position is part of the APEX Pharmacy Workers Collective agreement, with a salary between Step 2 ($80,442 p.a) and Step 7 ($104,466 p.a pro-rata).
