Systems Analyst

About the Role We are seeking a systems analyst with strong critical thinking skills and a solid understanding of SQL and related languages. This permanent, office-based position is essential to our expanding team, where your contributions will play a pivotal role in our ongoing projects. In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and addressing system issues and problems in a timely manner - Designing and improving processes - Creating comprehensive reports - Providing technical system support - Ensuring compliance with international requirements and standards - Completing ad-hoc duties as needed Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - Prior experience in a similar analytical role, serving as a bridge between technical and business resources - Strong critical and lateral thinking skills - Proficiency in structured data, particularly with SQL and/or XML - Excellent communication abilities - Experience in a complex public sector environment is highly advantageous Please note that candidates must be based in the Wellington region and have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
