About the Role:
We are looking for an Experienced Retail Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at Rebel Papanui in Christchurch North. If you are currently in a Sales Assistant role and eager to take on greater responsibilities while building a solid foundation for your retail career, this position is ideal for you. What will you be doing?
In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, including:
- Managing counter and till operations
- Assisting customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Potentially overseeing a department
- Keeping your department clean and organized
- Retrieving stock and restocking shelves
- Supporting online customers by efficiently picking and packing orders
- Ensuring accurate pricing on merchandise
- Occasionally coaching team members
What will you need to bring to this role?
To succeed in this position, you should possess:
- Experience in a retail environment
- A customer service-oriented mindset, recognizing the importance of our customers
- Readiness to take on department lead and key-holder responsibilities
