About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Dental/Oral Health Therapist to join our dedicated Oral Health team in the Western Bay of Plenty. This is a permanent position open to experienced candidates with a minimum of 12 months of post-graduate experience, new graduates ready to start in January 2026, or qualified overseas candidates currently obtaining their Dental Council NZ registration.
In this role, you will primarily work with children aged 0 to 13 years, either in Mobile Units or at a fixed-site clinic. Our organization is committed to professional development and offers ongoing training opportunities, as well as reimbursement for your Annual Practicing Certificate fee and payment of a professional association membership fee.
About You
To be eligible for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Current registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand, along with a valid 2025/2026 Annual Practicing Certificate
- A demonstrated understanding and commitment to culturally safe practices
- Compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace
- A minimum of a restricted New Zealand Driver Licence
- Adherence to Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty Shared Expectations and the Manaakitanga CARE values
