About the Role
We are currently seeking two full-time, permanent Dental/Oral Health Therapists registered with the Dental Council of New Zealand to join our dedicated Oral Health team. These positions are ideal for experienced professionals with a minimum of 12 months of post-graduate experience, new graduates ready to begin their careers in January 2026, or qualified overseas candidates who are in the process of obtaining their Dental Council NZ registration.
Our service caters to patients aged 0 to 13 years, and the role involves working either in Mobile Units or in a fixed-site clinic within the Western Bay of Plenty area. We offer ongoing professional development opportunities, external learning applications, reimbursement for the Annual Practicing Certificate fee, and coverage for annual professional association membership fees.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Current registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practicing Certificate for 2025/2026.
- A demonstrated commitment to culturally safe practices.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
- A minimum of a restricted New Zealand Driver Licence.
- Adherence to the Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty Shared Expectations and Manaakitanga CARE values.
