About the Role We are currently seeking a motivated Electrical Operations Manager to lead and grow our Industrial Division. This hands-on role will involve managing a small team of 3-4 maintenance electricians while also engaging in practical work. You will be responsible for driving division performance, preparing quotes, scheduling preventative maintenance, and building strong client relationships to further expand our business. This position reports directly to the Director and presents a unique opportunity for you to take ownership of the division. Key Responsibilities - Lead and supervise the division team to ensure daily targets are met. - Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies. - Price and quote work promptly and accurately. - Oversee onboarding, training, and performance reviews for staff. - Plan and manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accountability. - Liaise with clients to keep them informed and satisfied. - Invoicing for completed work in a timely manner. - Resolve issues quickly and effectively. - Meet sales and profit targets while identifying growth opportunities. - Ensure all work complies with company policies and procedures. - Perform other duties as required. Requirements - New Zealand Registered Electrician with a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience. - Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role. - Hands-on, practical skills; you will be working on the tools until the team expands. - Strong pricing and quoting experience. - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to motivate staff and hold them accountable. - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. - A customer service focus with the ability to build strong relationships. - A full, clean New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence. - Knowledge of solar installation and commissioning is an advantage. - Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
