About the Role Our Dunedin branch is currently seeking a professional and detail-oriented Class 2 Driver to join our dedicated team. This role is customer-focused and involves operating a vehicle to ensure the safe and timely collection of our services. Key responsibilities include: - Operating a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. - Following assigned routes and schedules to guarantee timely pickups and deliveries. - Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to vehicle operations and service collections. - Providing exceptional customer service by interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner. - Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness. - Complying with all company policies and procedures related to health and safety. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: - A valid and clean Class 2 New Zealand driver's license. - Relevant driving experience, preferably in a similar role. - A thorough knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. - The ability to follow routes and schedules efficiently. - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. - Attention to detail and the ability to handle paperwork accurately. - Familiarity with the Dunedin area and its roads is an advantage.
