About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our workshop team. This role is focused solely on workshop-based activities, where you will be responsible for performing heavy fabrication and fitting tasks. You will be working with various welding techniques, including MIG, Flux Core, and Stick welding.
Key tasks associated with this position include:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Executing heavy fabrication tasks
- Conducting MIG, Flux Core, and Stick welding (FCAW & SMAW)
- Meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- A minimum of three years of experience in heavy fabrication
- Competency as a Heavy Fabricator or Fitter Welder
- Ability to pass welding tickets if required
- Capability to work independently on projects from start to finish
- Proficiency in accurately working from technical drawings
- A strong commitment to health and safety practices
