    About the Company At Spectrum Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support services for adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities across the Auckland region. With over 100 worksites and various support options available, we are committed to enhancing the lives of the individuals we serve. Our residential service offers 24-hour support, ensuring a nurturing and empowering environment for our clients. About the Role We are seeking a House Leader to join our team in Pukekohe. This full-time position consists of 40 hours per week, with a salary range of $23.50 to $29.10, plus a House Leader Allowance. In this role, you will combine support work with team leadership, motivating and guiding a support team within a community home. You will work closely with your Service Coordinator to supervise and ensure the effective delivery of services to the people we support. If you are passionate about helping individuals develop self-confidence and independence, while enabling them to live their lives of choice within their communities, we would love to hear from you. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: - Proven experience in leading a team, with the ability to coach and develop individuals - Effective report writing skills - Experience in organizing and allocating rosters - Familiarity with balancing general ledgers - Strong communication skills to engage supportively with clients, their families, and your coordinator - Physical fitness for an active role that includes sports, community engagement, recreational activities, and personal care Additionally, candidates should have: - Experience supporting individuals with disabilities and/or challenging behaviors - Reliability, commitment, and a passion for working with people - A valid driver's license - A relevant qualification - Proficiency in using computers, including programs such as Word, Internet Explorer, and email Benefits At Spectrum Care, we prioritize our employees and offer a supportive work environment.
