We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Administrator to join our team on a significant infrastructure project in New Zealand's Canterbury Region. About the Role In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting procurement processes, managing claims, and assisting with commercial reporting. Your efforts will ensure that project delivery aligns with contractual, financial, and program requirements on this nationally significant build. Key responsibilities include: - Providing daily support to the Commercial Manager. - Processing procurement administration tasks, including purchase orders, invoice approvals, and receipting. - Contributing to financial tracking, claim support, and commercial reporting. - Ensuring that all procurement and payment activities meet project standards and compliance requirements. Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - A Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying) or a related commercial qualification. - A minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure or heavy civil projects. - Strong knowledge of NZS3910:2023 contract standards. - Proven skills in subcontractor procurement, purchase order management, and contract claims.
