About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team on a fixed-term contract until December 2026. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting, maintaining, and improving our infrastructure, systems, and applications. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing our cybersecurity measures and provide advanced support to our internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for administering both physical and virtual server environments. Your duties will include monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our infrastructure, which encompasses firewalls, routers, and switches. You will provide 2nd and 3rd level support for end users and business applications, implement and maintain security protocols and systems, and enhance Identity and Access Management through Single Sign-On (SSO), System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), and access centralization.
Furthermore, you will document procedures to maintain system hygiene and assist with ICT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer. Relevant Microsoft and Azure certifications (such as MCSE or MCP) are preferred. You should possess deep experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows operating systems, and Autopilot. Strong skills in PowerShell scripting and server virtualization are essential, along with an understanding of backup technologies like Veeam or Datto.
Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, particularly Freshservice, is desirable. A solid knowledge of networking and security frameworks, along with excellent documentation and problem-solving skills, will be key in this position.
