Description
About the Company
At our organization, we believe in the power of collaboration and community strength. We are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services in a rural setting, where the lifestyle offers unique recreational opportunities and professional challenges. Our goal is to foster integrated services that meet the needs of our population while supporting the personal and professional growth of our team members.
About the Role
We are currently seeking applications from psychiatrists interested in working within our Adult Mental Health and Addiction Services in a rural health setting. This role provides the chance to contribute to the ongoing development of rural specialties and to design sustainable services for the future. You will have the opportunity to join the Rural Special Interest group of the RANZCP, enhancing your professional network and expertise.
In our small but agile mental health service, you will collaborate with a team of several psychiatrists, working alongside a stable and experienced workforce to provide specialist services to a population of approximately 32,000 people. We prioritize collegial relationships and professional development, and we are always open to exploring new ideas to improve our services.
The nature of rural services requires a high degree of flexibility and diversity in your work. This role primarily focuses on general adult psychiatry, which may include responsibilities in community and inpatient settings, as well as addictions, older persons, and child and adolescent services. The specific range of clinical responsibilities will be tailored to your experience, interests, and the needs of our service.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who share our values and commitment to the community. This position is not just about filling a role; it is about joining a team dedicated to achieving excellence in rural healthcare. We offer competitive benefits, flexible working arrangements, and a relocation scheme for those ready to embrace this opportunity.
Benefits
Joining our team means you will gain access to a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in our community. We provide competitive compensation and benefits packages that reflect our commitment to our staff and the services we provide.
