About the Role We are currently seeking a Class 4 Owner Driver to join our Mainfreight Transport Christchurch team. This permanent full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to build your brand while enjoying the security that comes with being part of a well-established company. As an Owner Driver with Mainfreight, you will have the chance to operate your own business with the support of our experienced team and resources. Day-to-Day Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the following: - Hubbing freight through our state-of-the-art facilities, collaborating with our expert operations teams. - Safely loading, securing, and unloading freight. - Managing the timely pick-up and delivery of freight, ensuring it arrives damage-free. - Maintaining your truck in pristine condition. - Delivering exceptional customer service on a daily basis. Requirements To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements: - A current Class 2 Licence. - A Transport Service Licence (TSL). - Forklift and Dangerous Goods Licences. - Appropriate financing to purchase a brand-new vehicle. - Excellent communication skills and a professional personal presentation.
