About the Company We are a well-established company based in Dunedin, specializing in the truss and frame manufacturing sector. About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and practically minded individual to join our team in a construction-based factory environment in Mosgiel. While previous experience in truss and frame production is valued, it is not a requirement as we provide full training for the right candidate. This position offers long-term opportunities, with immediate start options available. You will have the chance to learn and develop new skills in the growing construction industry, all while working indoors and avoiding harsh winter conditions. Position Details The role is full-time, with hours from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, amounting to over 40 hours per week. There is also a night shift available from 3:00 PM to midnight. Your tasks will include: - Measuring and cutting timber to precise specifications - Operating saws, nail guns, and other air-powered tools - Assembling prefabricated wall frames and roof trusses Requirements To be successful in this role, you should: - Be reliable and physically fit, as the position involves repetitive manual work - Have a strong awareness of health and safety practices - Possess your own reliable transport - Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test - Provide two recent work references Benefits We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24 to $27.
