About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team at Dargaville Hospital in a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. This role presents a wonderful opportunity to provide expert physiotherapy services that promote independence, safety, and well-being for our patients at Health New Zealand. Your work will primarily focus on musculoskeletal conditions, providing coverage in the General Ward during annual and sick leave. About You Essential Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified Physiotherapist with registration from the Physiotherapy Board of NZ (or eligible for registration) and hold a current practicing certificate. You will need a solid understanding of physiotherapy theory and principles, along with the ability to assess client needs and respond appropriately. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the capacity to relate to a diverse range of individuals and age groups. We value time management and problem-solving abilities, as well as a commitment to understanding te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori. Experience in projects or initiatives that align with Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, as well as the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches in healthcare settings, is highly regarded.
