About the Role
As a Class 5 Driver with us, you will operate our modern fleet, which includes the latest 630 hp Arocs Mercedes and FH16 600 Volvos. You will benefit from a consistent work schedule with no overnight stays, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The position primarily involves PM night shifts, averaging 10-12 hours per shift.
Your daily responsibilities will include transporting goods from the Tauranga Resource Recovery Centres to the Hampton Downs landfill and other key disposal points in the Bay of Plenty region. You will be responsible for conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and will regularly maintain and clean your vehicle. Collaboration with internal stakeholders will be essential for safe loading and unloading.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Class 5 Licence and have demonstrated experience in driving and reversing at this level. While experience with Road Ranger and tipping is advantageous, it is not essential. A strong understanding of safety regulations and logbook requirements is crucial.
