About the Role We are currently looking for a reliable and physically fit Class 2 Furniture Delivery Truck Driver to join our team for a fixed-term contract of approximately one month, with the possibility of extension. This role involves delivering furniture to our customers, which requires a good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work. Requirements To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following criteria: - A valid Class 2 truck license - Ability to assist with manual handling and heavy lifting - Comfort in working in a physically demanding role - Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude - Availability to start immediately Key Duties In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Driving a Class 2 vehicle to deliver furniture to customer locations - Assisting with the loading and unloading of furniture - Carrying out heavy lifting and helping position furniture within customer homes - Ensuring the safe handling and transportation of all goods - Completing paperwork or delivery records as required - Working as part of a delivery team to ensure efficient service - Following all road safety and company procedures Work Type This is a fixed-term position for approximately one month, with the possibility of an extension.
