We are currently expanding our operations and looking for talented individuals to join our team as full-time Scaffolders. About the Role We are seeking organized and trustworthy Scaffolders who take pride in their work. This role offers full-time, permanent positions with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week. The site locations will be determined based on project demand, providing opportunities for diverse experiences across various regions. Key Responsibilities In this position, you will be responsible for: - Building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as creating stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events. - Inspecting areas requiring scaffolding and making calculations to determine the appropriate scaffolding needed. This includes unloading materials, assembling tubing and braces to form frameworks, and installing ladders, rails, and other attachments. - Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, inspecting scaffolding structures for safety, and dismantling scaffolding once projects are completed. - Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: - A minimum of 2 years of relevant scaffolding experience. - Strong time management skills and a commitment to maintaining an excellent work ethic. - A willingness to learn and develop skills within the industry. - A solid understanding of health and safety procedures. - Reliability and a strong work ethic. Nationwide Opportunity and Travel While this role is listed for the West Coast, we are actively recruiting for positions across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements. The regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington. South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland. We invite applicants from any of these regions who are willing to travel or relocate as needed. The company will cover relocation costs. Benefits We offer competitive compensation ranging from a minimum of $26.00 per hour to a maximum of $40.00 per hour. Additionally, we provide personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools necessary for the job, along with opportunities to work on significant infrastructure and commercial projects.
