About the Role
We are currently seeking a Customer Services Officer to join our team on a casual basis at the Oxford Service Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with the community across various service areas, including water, drainage, roads, rates, dog registration, and waste management.
As the first point of contact for our community, you will handle enquiries in person, as well as through phone, email, online, and social media channels. Your primary goal will be to provide professional, approachable, and solutions-focused service in every interaction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities:
- Customer Focused: A strong background in customer service with a minimum of 12 months experience in a call centre environment.
- Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Excellent Communicator: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Organised: Capable of managing and prioritising multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and the community.
Please note that this is a casual position with no fixed or guaranteed hours. It is ideal for someone who can be available at short notice to cover staff absences, planned leave, and peak workloads.
